Earn with your Mac

Go live from Settings → Kynd Share, or on a schedule (evenings, weekends). Renders run blind: nothing is shown, stored or logged on your Mac. You are paid for the video your Mac completes, at the same rate for every host. Faster Macs can earn more per hour by completing more work. Cash out through Stripe from £7.70. You do not need a licence to share a Mac, and nothing to sign up — anyone can, free. A payment card is asked for once, before your first payout, because Kynd has to know who it is paying; nothing is ever charged to it for sharing. Earn 50,000 credits and you can take a Kynd Pro licence instead of the cash.

Your measured rendering pace determines your speed; the chip name alone does not. Each host currently takes one job at a time. Extra simultaneous jobs will depend on benchmarks showing a real throughput gain for that Mac and workload.

Priced from the £5 starter pack, which is the dearest way to buy credits; the larger packs work out cheaper per minute. A job is always priced before it runs, and you set a ceiling it will not pass without asking.

Blind by design. Your prompt, images and results are encrypted with a key only the host Mac can open, for the length of the job. Kynd's broker holds sizes, states and money, never content. Hosts that walk away from work get a strike; three in a week pause them for a day, and every Mac carries a reliability rating used when assigning work.

Hosting has terms. Before you share a Mac, read the host terms: what Kynd pays, when it pays, what happens if a job is not finished, and what you can and cannot see.

Nobody sets their own price. Video prices depend on the finished duration and quality, with the same rate across host speeds. Faster hosts earn by completing more paid video. What Kynd charges its customers is separate, and covers the broker, the ledger, payouts, tax and support.
